Healing at pallets

Becareful of healing at a pallet. Console players and PC players who use a controller, the "drop pallet" and "heal" use the same button, and if you sit too close to the pallet, the person trying to heal you will instead drop the pallet instead of heal.

if you must sit at a pallet, sit along the side where the pallet isn't propped up against.

Was just accused of being a troller because the downed survivor moved at the last second turning my healing action button into a drop pallet button, and they ended up dying for it.

That was a hilarious way to kill the team mate. I have always preferred controller so the mapping really does get frustrating at times like that.

yeah, prob just gonna not attempt to heal downed folks who sit on pallets anymore. i feel bad they died, but they did it to themselves tbh.

BHVR really just needs to take a note from FromSoft and dedicate a button to toggling between actions, so situations like these don't arise.

Come on game, do you really think I would want to pick up the pallet with Any Means Necessary, rather than potentially save my life via Dead Hard?

a downed survivor moving is not always the reason healing gets canceled. It's one of many bugs, including your action button suddenly prioritizing self-heal(if you have one) after you get hit during healing someone else or saving, etc.
