its twitch: the best method to acquire viewers is to plug yourself consistently, you won't click, others will, it happens enlough, and everyone wins.
but to care enough to make a thread about people just trying to enjoy themselves is kinda sad.
If you put TTV in your name and you're a 4 man SWF, who the ♥♥♥♥ are you advertising to come watch you, if not the killer?"
Yea, putting TTV on your nickname just invites anybody to only abuse it.
Nobody will be like "omg a streamer, i am so gonma follow and subscribe and become a fan forever, so cool." i guarantee it.
Yeah dude because all the popular streamers have TTV in their name :)
Yes I do look at some admittedly. I don't really follow because I like to do other crap besides watch people play a game I could play.
Very few are chill people who I had a fun time playing with and would love to play with again. Sometimes with friends, but they're not great at the game and just playing for fun. I can respect these people and wish them the best.
Most TTVs though are the redrank 4 man SWF tryhards bringing all the optimal perks, and they're a TTV advertising in this 4 man SWF to me, as a killer. It's like telling me your credit card numbers, then sending in a complaint when I wound up using your card to buy a pizza.
trying to compare people trying to build up their community to a community that has been around for years is apples to oranges, why not go and ask one of those popular streamers how they started out? i'd bet you'd hear many similar stories about how they got lucky, got a few viewers here and there until someone larger raided then.
see the thread about connections? something that applies to most jobs.
like your complaining about peoples text names on steam, as if it even matters lol, it'd be equally as sad to say your gonna tunnel someone just cause they wore a blue shirt.
just play the game and have fun with it, to have your feelings affecting by something as harmless as 3 letters in someones name is impressive, but also pretty sad.
sounds like a TTV wreked you and you are salty about it lul
...hell one of them got paid to stream Raid Shadow Legends.
I wish I were joking.
its not like it suddenly becomes less fun to do what you were doing before, its not magic my friend.
even if people dont remain, they check them out, and some of those people will stay, and hey, they'll have fun chatting, even if nothing is earned, people are having fun with it, why care
