Tier 1: 5 minutes

Tier 4: 30 minutes
Tier 5: 1 hour
Tier 6: 2 hours
And basically keeps climbing higher and higher.
You go down 1 tier penalty every 24 hours after your penalty has ended. It doesn't matter how many games you play or if you even log in.
Remember that your internet is your responsibility. Even if you didn't intentionally disconnect, it still impacts the other 4 people in the match.
How does this penalty work? Will i be blocked from playing games, or it works by other way?
When it has been added? I don't remember this penalty system when i played game last time.
If I remember correctly, it was introduced early-mid last year. In my opinion, it's a pointless and overly harsh penalty system, cause you'll often receive bans for crashes and other things that are out of your control. Everyone get's around it by killing themselves on hook anyways.
You'll be barred from being able to queue into matches. There will be a timer in the bottom right showing how long you are banned for.
For crashes, if you can grab the crash log and contact support and explain what happened before the crash occurred, they will usually levy and remove your disconnect ban, but not for internet disconnects.
The longest I've seen the penalty go up was a 72 hour soft ban before the person decided to stop testing because they actually wanted to play the game. I've heard someone has reached a 7 day soft ban, but never saw any actual screenshots of it, so can't confirm.
Either way, the way to reduce the penalty is to not disconnect while you're not soft banned. Even if that means "play something else for a while".
Definitely wouldn't call it "pointless". Before the penalty system was in place, more than half of my games would have a DC in them. Usually multiple. It was very hard to get a normal game.
Unfortunately, most games have devolved into just suiciding on first hook instead, but eh, at least people don't DC within the first 5 seconds whenever they hear a Nurse screeching or see Freddy's clock timer on the HUD.
