Detectives Hunch

I very rarely see this perk used but it’s actually really good when used correctly.
If you know what it does skip the paragraph below:

Detectives Hunch: After a Generator is completed, the Auras of Generators, Chests and Totems within 32/48/64 metres are revealed to you for 10 seconds.
If you are holding a Map that can track Objectives, Generators(or totems) revealed by Detective's Hunch are added to the Map.

Admittedly this is stronger in a SWF but still has potential in solo que. The ability to track chests is worthless, the ability to track gens is good on indoor maps. However, the ability to know where all the totems are after one or two gens is amazing. This means you can easily find any hex perk the killer may be using, additionally, it means you’ll be much better prepared for NOED, you can quickly check all the totems after the generators are completed.

If your playing solo que or have a bad memory, you can bring a map with crystal bead to reveal all the totems to your teammates.

Never used this perk myself but as someone who always uses devour hope it does seem to be a very good perk complete trash perk dont use it. Ive seen a streamer have to be able to see exactly where my totem was and tell her teammate where it was. Tho honestly I can tell you and give a VERY tiny amount of data showing tbat most seem to not need a perk like this at all and either know the spawns or totems just suck. Seems good to learn the spawns tho

I use the perk to learn totem placements in newer maps/reworks, and then after I learn them, I unequip it after.

I don't use it.
Most totems are spawned at the same places, so it's good enough for me to just run by, which I end up doing, while going for a safe unhook or generators to repair.

It's a pretty good perk, it just gets outshined by pretty much everything else because it's ability isn't meta in any way.
