Deathslinger terror radius
His terror radius certainly doesn't feel like it's 24m. I've just played a game, (To answer predictable comments, no he wasn't using M&A.), I was in the house with the generator downstairs in Haddonfield. He fired his harpoon, and it certainly was VERY far away from me. Still, I heard the terror radius as he was right behind me. His TR faded away as he was presumably leaving the area, just to see him right behind me. The heartbeat felt like it was 20 meters away, still, he was right behind me. I saw the red stain as the heartbeat began kicking in like mad.

See, this is not the usual "please nerf i am casual not competitive player" kind of thread, but rather, a rant whose purpose is expressing my opinion in regards to this killers's terror radius. Even the Demogorgon's Terror Radius was much better than this, back when it was literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken.

(Also, to answer more upcoming replies: No, he wasn't using:

- Dark devotion

- Tinkerer

- Nemesis

- Beast of Prey

- Again, Monitor and Abuse

- No add-on that allowed him to hold his M2 for a smaller terror radius

You can see him clear as day when he's in the open, because he is indeed a VERY tall killer. You can see him no problem, but the problem is when he's rounding a corner in a closed environment. His terror radius makes him seem like he's 20 meters away, but he's actually right by the door. I suspect an approach by the devs in this matter, because this exact thing happened with the Demogorgon way back on his release / PTB.

What's your opinion?

Hard to say without video evidence.
Could be a bug.

Strange enough, there are no problems with any other killer. Just deathslinger. His terror radius, yes, I could say it's bugged, but terror radiuses in general are fine, trust me on this one.
My best guess is that his terror radius isn't very loud.
I have the same experience too
His TR fluctuates from far away to breathing down my neck

His terror radius also isn't very loud if he's about 20m away so maybe you just didn't hear it.
Probably a bug, his terror radius is just, confusing as hell which doesn't help.

You have to know that sounds and TR are weird in maps like Springwood and Haddonfield especially coz of all the walls.

I already said that it was in the basement with the generator (not the hook basement). TR shouldn't be affected by the environment, though.

Link the source. Sounds are affected by the environment such as walls, but TR remains the same.

IT IS. How many times i was next to a wall and the sound of finished gen was muffled and when i move slightly i hear it normally.

Dude. TR = Terror Radius. We are NOT talking about generators, totems, footsteps, weapon swings, gunfire, pallet drops, rushed vaults, etc. We are talking about Terror. Radius.

And it is NOT affected by the environment.
