Slender man is not an “In your Face” slasher killer. He’s a stalking, only moving when people arnt looking at them, type killer.
There are no “chases” in the Movies or stories of slender man, only the victim running only to rarely see a motionless figure when they look behind. Only really attacking with his “tentacle” arms will he remains motionless. Not swinging wildly with a weapon.
Now to throw that type of character into a game where it’s hands on chases, killers swing weapons, slashing, vaulting, breaking, and hooking. It’s something that Slender Man would never do in any of their lore. Slender man doing anything like that would be complete out of character and break the lore of what would make him Slender Man.
Now, I’m not say “I Don’t Wamt Slender man REEEE” I’m saying, I don’t want a character to be ruined, lore changed or “out of character” actions, to happen, just so they can be placed in a video game
