But it’s hard to press the dpi click when you are turning on the chainsaw
You just turn a lot quicker at the beginning of your chainsaw, Thats it.
Actually, I believe that the devs acknowledged curving when they did they billy rework and said they wanted to keep it. Thus a feature, not an exploit. Jflick is only an exploit because the devs said they did not want it.
And Blight who's high was bugged since release, also only recently fixed, so almost a year of that bug. Oh and ghost face, who still can be fully visible from the survivor and not be revealed, which is years old as well.
Like... yes, they absolutely would leave a bug in the game for many years that they are well aware of.
These days the flick people are talking about is just the increased turning speed at the beginning of his dash.
This is intended. Fun fact about it though is that before his rework it used to be affected by the "Controller speed" setting.
I do not recall seeing your citation when proclaiming it to be a bug. Nonetheless, here you go. You could have just googled it since I told you the source but here it is below:

And in case you do not want to search through that either, I took the time to find the direct quotation as well:
"Given that we’re already pretty happy with the way The Hillbilly performs, the changes to his base kit are minimal. We are not removing any of the options you have with his chainsaw (traversal, feathering, curving, etc.). Instead, we want to focus on the skill-based gameplay and put an emphasis on using your chainsaw effectively, only adding a small drawback to misusing your chainsaw."
