Escaping from the hatch via key challenge is a very good example of this.
Is it BS? Sure. Should you have that perk after 9 months? Probably.
I would do this challenge a million times over instead of the Buried Underground challenge from Tome 1.
One of the challenges I hate most is 'survive while other survivors escape the trial', because you can make it that far and then just get screwed out of it because your teammates are busy tbagging or waiting around for no other reason than to be there in case you go down, when in reality you're both waiting at separate exit gates.
I ended up getting it done regardless because a Nurse was getting REALLY greedy for hooks during the EGC one game and WGLF + Botany Knowledge + Built to Last + Super Medkit was enough healing speed to pull it off even with her chasing others close by. Even then, I died getting the last person up. Was still worth it, though, just to get the challenge done.
The challenge to grab off gens would suck. I went into the pull animation just the other day, but it bugged out, froze me in the mid-reach portion, and left me like that for over a minute while survivors did gens. One even ran to the gen I was stuck at and started doing it right next to me until the game decided I was done with time-out and could move again.
I managed to get him to allow us to farm altruism at the end of the match by downing us to prone state and healing other players... Pretty dumb challenge, agreed.
It's damn near impossible to achieve in the same match... once maybe but not twice.
You'll have better luck just flagging a killer and using the "come here" action and hoping they don't just down right kill you.
It took me like 3 or 4 games before someone actually went for it... good luck.
Edit: Helpful hint, put bond on so you can narc out other team mates and gather people together.
