Just try to play something new if you get board of the game, and just forget about dbd for a while if you really want 2.
The only thing you can do is just ignore everything DBD related. Unfollow/unfriend/unsubscribe everything and everyone that has something to do with it. That's the only way to get rid of it. Or you can ask Steam to remove the game from your library. That way you won't lose anything (I think) but you will not be able to play the game.
nothing wrong with 2k hours if the person doing it right(for twich[$$$] not taking over their lifes. )
i knew one person who blow off friends just to play their game, not healthy.
So on average you have played 30 minutes a day since release if you played since release, that is hardly an addiction.
that use to be me with CSGO just play other stuff or do other stuff
When you come back you'll be less invested and able to play the game less seriously and it will feel fresher.
