Okay, it's time for some LGBTQ characters

We've got 51 characters in DBD, even more if you count Legion as more than 1, yet there's no LGBTQ characters yet. The Western World's population is roughly 6% LGBTQ, meaning statistically at least 2 characters should've been LGBTQ by now. Is the entity avoiding LGBTQ people, because it's starting to look like the lack of LGBTQ people is deliberate. And this problem will only get worse the more cis heterosexual characters are added.

I know that not a lot of characters are explicitly cis heterosexual's, but unfortunately an undefined sexuality is assumed to be heterosexual and the same with cisgender. A game with a confirmed cast of cis heterosexuals and a game with a cast with no defined sexuality are almost the same when it comes to inclusiveness, which is a shame because Dead by Daylight clearly wants to be inclusive. But nothing you do will ever amount to the inclusiveness you would gain by adding a LGBTQ character. I even get the impression that DBD wants to be inclusive, but doesn't want to add a LGBTQ character to avoid angering the homophobic market, or more accurately the "keep politics out of games" demographic.

idk bout the sexual orientation, but the gender is laid out for very character in their bio, item descriptions, and archives.

If you grab a relatively small number of random people (like 100) it is really hard to get anyone nonbinary. So it's not surprising there aren't any.

I googled if Felix is gay, and it said he is the only character who is confirmed to have a girlfriend.

Where's the point? Those characters don't even talk or have a personality, yes, each one of em have a different lore, but to me it makes no sense "adding a LGBTQ" character when u can assume for yourself that for example David King is gay, i just dont get it

How does one do this? Like how do you create a lesbian or gay character? They are doing gens, not each others nails. Who's to say Nea isn't gay? I personally think Dwight goes both ways. And although I feel I'm pretty open minded, who cares what their sexual preference or orientation a character is.....when it has no relevance to the game.

You said you were open minded, so I believe if you just go out and read about the importance of representation you would get better understanding than anything I can say. Representation means a lot more to those that don't have it than those that already do.

This game has so much representation to all these nationalities and backgrounds and nobody cares, but when it happens to be LGBT being discussed it's all of a sudden an actual issue, wtf is wrong with you people. Let Behavior do it if they want to.

If you're arguing it's a game and that nobody should be caring enough to ask for this then follow your own advice, there's ZERO harm in adding this and if you're opposed you're simply homophobic on some level.

Oh, then no, there's no canon lgbt characters. Lots of people SAY certain characters are gay or trans, but that is headcanon or fan theories only.
