worthless

It's a training wheels perk. So yes, it's worthless once you learn the game and skillchecks. You do get the 8m noise reduction but that only comes in play when killer patrols past gen of different floor essentially so minimal use.

Nobody ever needs Technician. It will likely get buffs one day... but not anytime soon is planned.

Only seen once,on a Dwight, along with bond,he led the killer to teammates, and reduced an almost done gen to nothing, missing skill checks, at that point couldnt help but laugh, maybe a perk for griefing?

It's good for new players and that's basically all.... not the best perk ^^

the only thing its good for is the -8 meter sounds. if youre the average survivor you wont be missing skill checks on gens 99% of the time. terrible perk and i dont recommend running it in your main build

Most perks actually need a massive rework, even the small game little rework gets overshadowed by the new jill perk, they need to do something about 95% of the perks being useless

Like adding no mither grunts reduction cumulation with iron will to counter stridor instead of nerfing stridor for no reasons

maybe add any means necessary ability to break breakable walls in like 20 seconds or so, because it's more of a swf perk than anything else no ones use it

and theres perks that are complete garbage and deserve to either get completely changed or removed from the game

If it also muffled the noises of other teammates working on the generator it would be better.

It's op against freddy, you'll never sleep again as long as you doing gens. Completly useless for everything else unless you have bad FPS and you strugglign to skillcheck.

It would be good if the perk would increase great skillcheck area for 25% or maybe you get more BPS for doing gens alone....but nope, monstruous shrine for gens.

This perk is a good even for not new players (like me), if you have problems with skillchecks for some reasons (for example, bad reaction). But +5% to lost of gen progression after error... Better upgrade this perk to maximum level (+3% per error).

Note: he don't hide your error on 100%, if killer nearby from gen, he can hear that gen get big noice.

Unless you're trash at skill checks, it's pretty much useless

When you fail a skillcheck with this perk it doesn't makes sound notification it only plays a little metallic sound. It also plays the electricity sound if ruin is in game

The reduced distance of repairing noises could be useful, based on how the increased distance on Surveillance is quite handy.

The skillcheck part is definitely good for new survivors and it can probably prevent those annoying situations where you hop of the gen but get a skill check in that very moment, alerting the killer.

Other than that... maybe it helps against Freddy? On demand wakeups at the cost of some generator progress?

I used it a lot back when Ruin had teeth and I was aiming for more Greats. It saved me numerous times. Once I got more comfortable I stopped using it. I'd say it's a great Perk for a new player, but once you have the hang of skillchecks in general, it's worthless.

generally worthless, but if you have a gen focused challenge. decent
