Hud Mods

So this might sound stupid, as I don't really know exactly how the dbd hud works. But would there be any way to mod the hud to revert it back to the old one? I know it's not just a simple png change but I'm just interested in whether that is even a possibility or not. And even if it was possible, I bet it would have a higher chance of banning than custom icons and stuff I assume.

Modifying the files would most likely result in ban. it's not up to the developers because EAC can detect code change or additional stuff hooked to the game. That being said, it's unlikely that you can modify the hud (other than changing the item icons, which is allowed)

I mean if theirs a mod where you can have the old animation, i think its not impossible to have the old hud made

You guys do know you can mod the game with out being banned right? just skin changes and animations is what the devs allow to be modded.

You guys do know you can mod the game with out being banned right? just skin changes and animations is what the devs allow to be modded.

To be clear it isn't the Devs you have to worry about it is Easy Anti Cheat, if it catches you messing with the files you will get banned and the DBD Devs have no say in that.

you would have to change the coding a little bit too
