I've seen people use custom models etc. in the game. How does one use these "mods?"

Either way, It's a "do at your own risk" thing. If you get banned, not even BHVR will be able to help you. You'd have to take it up with EAC, as it can be used for cheating. For example, a bad actor could make all the stealth killers or all of the survivors be extremely bright and noticeable than they actually are, or make killers much taller than they should be so you can see them as a survivor no matter what wall they're behind.

It's a grey area. BHVR won't do anything to stop you, but if EAC flags you, that will ban you permanently, so yes it's bannable.

Thanks, it's quite a lot of effort to accomplish. So I might not bother.

Eac is known to ban someone running CE in the background without even being properly opened, so I really think this can lead to a ban pretty easily even more than icons

I would say it's even riskier than running hacks like esp to be honest considering how good eac is

The update makes it impossible to use custom and glitched skins I think, like you can equip it in lobby, but when you get into game lobby it gets unequipped again, I saw a streamer try it yesterday. Also pretty sure it's bannable since you could get potential advantage from it, like making survivors taller as killer, give them shiny clothes etc.
