Does it matter? I'd say if you're not streaming it with reshade, it probably doesn't matter enough. If you're streaming the game you're better off just using color grading on the game to make it brighter on the stream, but not the game itself.
The person above me did and anyone that complains about dumb stuff like Fog is more than likely in the mindset of, "DBD is competitive, therefor anything that alters the games look gives players a competitive advantage." (Hint, DBD isn't competitive.)
Too many people like to cling to wording like "any 3rd party program that gives an advantage" when that can apply to technically anything including audio & mouse & gpu drivers.
Freestyle is also allowed but it sucks because you have to use GeForce Experience to use it which is absolute garbage.
