the ingame report works?, or is just a place where u can be salty?

Just for salt. If you maybe want a report to actually be handled, then you need video evidence of blatant cheating (teleporting, true invulnerability, etc.) or a screenshot of criminal level threats (death threats, racial hatespeech, etc.); you take those to DbD's official site, submit a report there, wait up to six months, and maybe they get a temp ban.

I used it before for someone taking the match hostage using a clipping exploit. Never heard back from the team.

You don't need screenshots for reporting offencive behaviour in chat since all chat logs are being sent with the report.

I faced cheaters yeaterday and reported them. I hope they'll be banned.
The last report of speed hacker with video proofs was ignored and the cheater doesn't have any bans.

Reports are being looked at, however, as of now you do not receive feedback on whether a report was handled or not.

However, reports are taken seriously. Please keep in mind there are many reports made daily, so you might not always see a result or in some cases, it might have not been a rule break.
