Should Blocked Generators Still Regress?
I never understood the purpose of generator blockage when the progress is still where it is when it becomes unblocked.

Should blocked generators still regress? Give me ur thoughts.

I feel like it's a fair trade-off right now, and also this mechanic is currently balanced around the fact that there is one survivor perk that can also block generators. Repressed Alliance allows survivors to block gens themselves, so it would make the perk useless against Ruin if blocked gens could regress, and would just make it easier to accidentally grief your team with it. As it is now though you can use it as a niche perk to protect a gen that's almost complete from regressing back to 0 because of Ruin if you have to hop off of it quickly. You can also sometimes stop Pop with it, but you don't necessarily know if the killer will come and pop your gen (and unless they already wasted too much time, they can just wait out Repressed Alliance since the block only lasts 30 seconds - while Pop lasts 45). I prefer using it against Ruin to protect a gen while I do something that requires me to get off of it - like getting a rescue or healing myself or a teammate.

But besides that, on the Killer side, I think it's a fair enough trade off. A blocked gen cannot be worked on, but they cannot regress either. Survivors can waste their time waiting for it to wear off if they want, but that can leave them vulnerable or give the killer enough time to apply more pressure by injuring, downing, hooking, or even getting a kill.

First of all, That would pretty much kill one of the only two uses Repressed Alliance has.
(Dont touch my niche perk pls)

Second, I think that would be too strong If Deadlocked would be paired with Ruin. Ruin + Undying is already meta and Deadlocked synergises with It very well.

But that is something I would have to see in game for myself since I could be overestimating how strong It would be.

A generator shouldn’t regress whiles blocked.
A regressing generator that is blocked then later unblocked should continue regressing after block.

If it continued regressing I’d feel like it’d be too strong and or annoying to deal with, and would be a nerf to repressed allience.
