It's still faster than a slow vault, still triggers the notification for the killer. The biggest difference compared to a fast vault, other than ofc the speed, is that it takes you way more time to get to the other side with your hitbox, giving more chances to the killer to get you with a lunge attack.
In those situations, your best bet would be to juke the killer (fake to run into the window, not actually vault, get the f* away from the window because he will lunge at it).
