Don't need DS if you can rely on your teammates not unhooking you infront of killers and taking a hit for you. Then again this is a SWF answer, if you're solo, you kinda need it.
Alternatively;
Don't need to worry about BT if you're not near the hook and if you actually go for the rescuer.
Don't need to worry about DS if you don't down the person who was unhooked instead of going for the person (likely healthy) who rescued them, god forbid you gotta chase someone.
I've never had a problem with those two perks as a killer, and I've only ever had to use them as a survivor because solo experience is god awful and they'll tunnel you because as if they want an easy game with Undying + Ruin with console players.
It's the buff Thrill should've got but never did.
Don't see why they have to make it reveal auras when it could likely do something else if they feel a dire need for it to do something.

I disagree that you need it, I've achieved rank 1 survivor multiple times without d'strike or swf.
But, more or less it ends up feeling like RNG because if the killer decides to tunnel and you get unlucky enough to get games where they hunt you down because easy kills and survivors unhooking you, you'll depip.
Sometimes you end up feeling like you need it because of your teammates and how the killer plays.
Ya fair enough, I think solo survivor is pretty abysmal. I just don't like that sometimes the most toxic survivors, mostly swf are the ones that end up getting out just because of d'strike tho.
Also I think they should have just left Undying as it was but if they did have to change it, just get rid of the aura part or just make it where it's just the dull totems like they're going to do and add the tokens staying part.
I wouldn't even use Undying hardly when I play killer but I still think it's a stupid change.
But I don't care for a garbage perk like undying or ruin keep using if you want to.
+1 for "Honesty"
But you can type even nonsense...
Hard to believe statements made by a player rank1 with 200h .... ^..^
Yes, everyone can reach ez rank 1 but... you learn basics of the game in the first 50-100h so, ..... it's not hard to say that you had rank 1 with:
- Spirit, Noed,Mori, Undying and Ruin
- Huntress with Red Hatchet, Noed,Mori, Undying and Ruin
- Clown with Red Finger, Noed,Mori, Undying and Ruin
Against good (and well equipped perks/items wise) survivors the time for M1 killers is a wee bit short in my opinion, against beginners it is sufficient, but you are still constantly on your toes.
If in higher rank games Undying/Ruin became that "crutch", then maybe it shows the game is too easy for survivors without it. I can't really believe that all killers are crap. ;)
I would be surprised if ruin+undying even really was a crutch. It likely gives you similar kinds of regression to pop. Main reason to run ruin and undying is that kicking gens is obnoxious.
I was never talking about this patch. Any OP perk was getting nerfed after the ptb and def not only killer perks. You could already smell that it will be changed at some point.
Noone is juding for hour, everyone has its own in-game performances. Some worse, some better, others have a bad day.. It's a game.
Anyway...
If i said that there's a reason. Full of people with <200h = you still dont know a lot about this game.
We have to be honest each other. You understand basics of this game in first 50-100h. You unlock the best perks of this game after a loong time. You need to know Maps, spots, it's impossible you master this game and to be a "try hard" gamer with less <200h. So, opinion of people with <200h is great anyway, but not so much important compared to other people with many many more hours that understand better pro and cos.
let's remember after that, this is a casual game
Exactly man.
Understand a game is fast but learn how to really play and master the game needs you another 600h more.
Going back to what I said before so people cannot misunderstand me
Not juding opinions. Everyone has an opinion and it must be respected 100%. But a person 200h who tells me he can't play without undying after the nerf (well done, never used undying and i will never use it, it was too much unbalanced in my opinion) well .... this statement leaves the time it finds ... Expecially now that maps have been modified (nerf), you have less loops, less pallets and people keep crying about it? meeeeeehhhh
You've played 60 hours of DBD in the last fortnight and are only rank 5 and rank 8. I mean I hate to be the guy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on hours and such but since you yourself are doing it these are kind of bad. You can go from rank 20 to rank 5 as killer in a single afternoon without playing too seriously.
Looking at your achievements, you also unlocked all of the rank achievements at almost the same time, including unlocking the rank 5 and rank 1 killer achievement at EXACTLY the same time.
Which is kind of suspect. Looks like SAM.
