I bought skin before the sale

Would I get the extra auric cells back. I bought it before the sale. I was under the impression that new skins are not going to be in sale but turns out it’s included.

They added the discount on this year's skins later, paired with daily login rewards, as a response to the community's backlash of the "event". If people didn't complain about it then they wouldn't have given discounts.

they will not return anything. I asked this question in the dbd server to which Kyle a community manager for BHVR said that they cannot do that.

I was under the impression that only the iridescent shard prices got discounted.

I‘m in the same situation as you,but i don't think it anymore.It's all DBD's fault.So maybe you should wait for next sale.

Actually, quite a few retailers allow you to refund the difference, including clothing and other accessory stores.

Guess what? Steam does this as well. There's no reason BHVR shouldn't be able to as well, other then greed.

They discounted the skins less then two days after they were first put up for sale. Would you not be miffed if you bought a new game on launch day for $90, and then the very next day it was taken down to $40?

This isn't a case where an item went on sale six months later; this was not even 48 hours after it was initially put up. People are not being entitled to complain.

Felix's Blight skin was originally Auric Cell exclusive, now it is available for Iridescent Shards.

That means anyone who bought it two days ago got screwed.

Uhmm I’m not sure if this applies to your country, but yes if you are referring to real life purchase and also items that are put on sales within 7 days of purchase are applicable to something they call price protection or price adjustment. 🙂🙂🙂

Yeah It’s not that much of an issue for me I just want to make sure if I’m gonna get refunded or not. I bought it to support the devs and appreciate their efforts and also to die and kill with style. LOL but it feels a bit wrong.

All I can say is this. I’m not mad about that few bucks losts. But what I want some close minded people here to understand that I just want to make all of you guys aware that it’s not ok. If we don’t let BHVR know that this is not ok, they might do it again. It’s not good for the future of the DBD community. That’s all thanks.

Oh, so you purchased new content just got release and they F you with a cheaper price in few days later. In this case then it's totally fair to ask for a refund. So sorry for not looking into the detail situation.
