Lol, yeah. I actually got blindsided by someone running Flipflop today. Went to pick them up, and suddenly their out of my grasp and i'm like "wait... did someone actually use flipflop?"

I'd say as long as you aren't being sweaty about it *and considering you consider it a goofy build you're not* You might get a good few laughs about it. Catch a killer off guard when he slugs you, as you go across the map, only to leap out of his grasp because you were flip flopped

it works but its very situational, that build becomes useless if the killer doesn't slug.
