It's huge, it has hiding places for days, and no matter where you are, it seems as if a hook is never less than at least five days' walk away.
Haddonfield and Meat Plant are way worse. Crotus Prenn is pretty bad too.
Haddonfeld is the worse since there are SOOO many places for a survivor to hide, and the Myer's house is a pseudo-infinite.
Don't disagree on Haddonfield at all, but unless you're playing Myers or Freddy, that house "infinite" isn't too much of a problem. The one I absolutely hate is the secondary "basement" at each corner of the map. I've been looped for days there.
Meat plant doesn't favor any one side. Its a flat out poorly designed map that is frustrating for everyone. There are too many rooms, and the separate floors really makes it difficult for Killers to effectively chase ESPECIALLY since there appears to be a pallet at every stairwell. Survivors can also stealth fairly easy by using misdirection to their advantage. Simply hide behind a corner, wait for the Killer to pass, and go into a room in the opposite direction. Its unreasonable hard for a Killer to patrol.
That house is indeed an infinite. It has 2 windows upstairs, 2 doors, and I think a window on the first floor. To add to that, standing on the roof gives a survivor ample time to kite a Killer.
Hooks aren't a problem for red forest either.
Wait a minute. I just realized that red forest is the Mother's Dwelling map.....that map is Killer-friendly except for the central house, but even that is not bad after you break the surrounding pallets. There are few places to hide (except lockers), jungle gyms are reasonable spaced apart, gens tend to be placed very close to one another, pallets tend to be spaced far apart, breaking pallets are actually meaningful because there aren't many extended looping zones, the corners of the map are easy to catch survivors, and there aren't a bunch of walls or structures to obscure your view as the Killer. I can't think of a single Killer who doesn't do well here. Hell, its one of the few maps where the Wraith can 4K a decent team of survivors.
I thought you were talking about the swamp, which can be a nightmare for killers.
