Save The Best for Last is highly recommended as well thanks to M2 hits not counting as basic attacks.
General tactics is that you put trails where you patrol. Whenever you're in chase you use your M2 for only 2 things normally: 1) when they're about to vault a pallet or window since their movement is now predictable. 2) To bait them into not going to a pallet or window since they'll move to the side then and you can cancel your M2 to move in for a quick M1.
2. Only use cage to execute, get in another chase immediatly, or if you suspect they have DS.
3. Hold m2 to dissuade survivors from optimal paths and then m1 them.
4. If they are unhooking in front of you you can hit them both with m2 if you time it right
