Extremely high ping

After the update hit my ping constantly fluctuates between 150 and 230, it's impossible to play like this. I constantly teleport short distances as a survivor. Haven't even touched killer after this.

I've considered it being something on my side, but all other online games work just fine, with their usual ping.

Anyone experiences anything like this? I live in eastern Europe.

I always wonder what the public test builds are even for. For show I guess?

Might be a server issue, with new patch and DLC there is a lot of players coming back so in order to get you a match the matchmaking is searching for longer and so the ping is getting higher so is the rank difference. ^^

Yeah, I don't think that's the case. My ping in lobby shows as 120, which is about average for me, which means I'm still being matchmaked in my region.

As soon as the game starts, though, it jumps anywhere from 150 and up to 250 and I just rubberband around the map.

I don't even know what can possibly be the issue at this point.

Same here, the game is extremely extremely laggy and has been rubberbanding around like crazy. Making it impossible to play as Killer and annoying to play as Survivor. Like now to play Killer I have to wait 15 mins for a lobby only to get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laggy game lol

I have this too - I have a good PC and internet, yet since the update my ping is sky-high leading to rubber-banding

tried my other games (many of which are more demanding re graphics) and they are fine - its just dbd

Same experience so far, but keep in mind the game is free to play currently
so maybe the servers are on heavy load right now

that's been happening to me too! I don't understand pings and really anything about all of this but It sucks that all of the updates force players to stop playing for 1-3 days..
