About the quotes of unique perks

Some of them differ from what they say in game and on the Official Manual[www.deadbydaylight.com]

(There is a TL:DR)

For example, all of the perks from the Last Breath chapter have two different quotes.

Balanced Landing
"I've jumped from higher places."
"I've always felt like a cat."

Urban Evasion
"The paint is still fresh but I'm long gone."
"I've kept my head down since birth."

Streetwise
"You're doing it wrong! Let me show you how it's done."
"You have to stay smart, stupidity gets you dead."

Stridor
"If you don't stop and catch your breath... she will."
"Hold your breath, or she’ll hear...”

Thanatophobia
"She plays with us and revels in our pain."
"We can’t just leave him there!”

Nurse's Calling
"Still attached to the fragments of her past life, she is drawn to those in need of help."
"Does she still bear some empathy inside her? Or can she smell blood?”


The top quote being in the in-game one while the bottom quote being the one on the manual.


Then you have these perks that have a quote on the manual but no in-game.


Overcharge
"It is a trap. But a trap one must step in."

Territorial Imperative
"We're not safe anywhere."

Beast of Prey
"Where did she go?"

Huntress Lullaby
"That song, it drives me crazy!"

Fire Up
"Now why don't you just f*cking die?"

Remember Me
"You don't remember? You must. You're my number one, and you'll never wake up again."

Blood Warden
"This is my world. And you can't ever leave."

Leader
"Listen to me if you don't wanna end up on a hook."

Quick and Quiet
"They will never catch me!"

Sprint Burst
"See if you can catch up..."

Adrenaline
"I've never missed a race, I always reach the finish line!"

Empathy
"Just stay there. I'll come for you!"

Self-Care
"I'm not dying here in this hellhole!"

Iron Will
"This is nothing!"

Calm Spirit
"Come here little friend, I won't hurt you."

Saboteur
"Hopefully this'll buy me some time."

Wake Up
"Ok, look. If we survive the next 24 hours, then I'll take you out on a real date."

Pharmacy
"Adrenaline, it's going to keep us awake. I stole it from one of the nurse's carts."

Vigil
"I'm gonna be here when you wake up. You're gonna make it."


I know no one but me probably cares, but whatever.

TL:DR

The quotes on some of the unique perks aren't consistent between the official manual and in-game.

Decisive Strike = "There's nothing to be scared of" - Laurie Strode

Object of Obsession = "He was watching me!" - Laurie Strode

Sole Survivor = "It was the boogeyman." - Laurie Strode

The point of this thread isn't about what perks have quotes, it's about the inconsistency between the manual and in-game.

But that's obvious to anyone who's ever cared enough.
And besides, it sort of corresponds, since quotes are involved.

Devs might just be too lazy to add them.

I didn't make them.

They're the ones from in-game and the manual, which I cited in my first sentence.

If you haven't already, you should check it out. It's very infomative to all players and has the game's lore on it.
