Wraith Speed Glitch (Feature).

So for those who don't know yet, if you ring the Wraith's bell but stop before the meter fills up, you temporarily gain the speed of being invisible while not actually becoming invisible (the speed boost goes away as soon as you stop ringing it). Some people have been using this to close the gap in chases, although it can only take you so far since it delays any attacks you can do.

Now while I don't encourage this behaviour, I'd like to ask the devs for this to become a main feature, make it like Leatherface's chainsaw where you can fully charge up the ability but it only comes into effect when you let go and it can be cancelled by pressing M1. If this became a main feature then this would be the buff Wraith desperately needs since it would allow him to have actual chase potential.

For anyone in advance asking 'why would you go invisible then?' Invisibility still gives you no terror radius and therefore allows you to sneak up on people, while ringing the bell while being visible will allow you to make up the distance you lost by them noticing you coming, though like I said using it still delays your attacks (again, much like Leatherface and his chainsaw) so you can't just spam it.

Even if it was (I never heard them say that), it would be a pretty great feature and help the Wraith in a big way.

It does seem to close ground faster, emphasis on "seem"... I'll do some testing to make sure, but for now I would assume it's an unintended side affect of this joke of a Wraith cube.

Perhaps there's some silver lining to be had.

It is an illusion, I have tested this in a swf game and it took the same amount of time to go the same distance using it. It is just funny when a wraith does it lol

I don't get why people are pulling against Wraith, it wasn't even a real buff. Just some small things to make people who play as him stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about how Freddy can search lockers and kick gens.
