"Starring David Batista as Evan MacMillan, the Trapper,..."
*Benny Hill theme, enter Batista*
*Batista chasing a 120 lbs woman around a big rock for the full 30 second commercial until the end, fade to black*
*Batista groans in pain, and it cuts back to the woman butt-dancing as Batista rubs his aching head*
Coming to theaters Halloween, 2018
It already exists, it's called Friday the 13th.
Personally I don't think there's enough there to make a movie just about the trial. However I think there's more than enough story to create an origins story of each killer and put that into a series + maybe last few episodes could be about the actual hunting in the trial. It would be like a drama at the start leading into psychological horror.
Hell yeah I love me some AHS.
Although I don't know if Dave Bautista would play as Evan as I recall he said something along the lines of him wanting some serious roles without having to be the "action star" although if DBD got a series it would give time for the series to intelligently develop Evan as a man into a killer.
I think it's this interview that I'm thinking of

I can definitely see him pulling off the look and I personally have confidence he'd make a great Evan if there was ever a well written backstory leading up to the trial of the entity.
Unsure about Dwayne though.
