Easy Anti-Cheat, the protection system DbD uses, is notoriously bad and tends to be broken in half once someone actually bypasses it successfully.
There are A LOT of in-game legit perks that boost movement speed for Survivors under various circumstances, and Killers have a pitiful handful of perks/powers that can boost movement speed.
There are some cheaters in DbD, beside from SaveGame Editor Legacy Trolls.
To cheat in DbD you need a way to bypass EAC. So lets say someone have it (and someone does), he have kind of reveal his method if he provides it to other People (at least in binary form) and that, he may do not for free and the People who spent Money for a Cheat for a Game where it's definitifly senseless to cheat, are really limited. So i would say "No" to your Question. Are not 'a lot'
Not for DbD, no. As I said, It's SENSELESS to Hack it, why I should waste my time for 10 People who wants to use it? The way i'm telling that, should tell you that i know about what I'm talking about, that would be true.
Some streamers also have solid evidence for popular cheats, plus some things that don't affect game play (skin or achievement cheats) are also kinda common.
It's not an everyday occurrence though. You can play several months without encountering anything fishy.
But if you do find something, never fail to hit the report button and send a ticket.
