Why Haunted Grounds is just BAD
This skill might sound "nice", but it's actually pretty ♥♥♥♥.

Why you ask?
I'll tell you why.

Lets start with the fact, that even in the perfect circumstances, it gives a mere 60 seconds of exposed. This usually means, that usually at best - you will get 1 survivor with it, if you manage to find one in time that is.

Then, the perk is completely gone for you. In order for HG to be of any use to a killer, the following conditions needs to be met:

1) HG MAY or MAY NOT give the survivors 60 seconds of exposed, depends if a survivor found the hex totem and destroyed it.
If a survivor found HG and destroyed it ->
2) The killer MAY or MAY NOT make use of those 60 seconds, depends if he can catch find and then catch a survivor in those 60 seconds.
THEN, after those 60 seconds, Haunted Grounds will have literally no impact on the game.

So many things can go wrong, however, in so many scenarios! It feels like Haunted Grounds is a SUPER niche perk with very limited contribution. Why you ask? Glad you asked!

First, if you use Haunted Grounds with another hex perk, and a survivor found and is working on a totem, there is a 33% chance (!!!) that the survivor will work on your ruin (or any other hex perk), and then not only your ruin is gone, but also the survivors won't work on Haunted Grounds and thus you wasted 2 perks for nothing! This is totally garbage.

Second, Hex perks are supposed to be high risk high reward. Haunted Grounds, giving a situational exposed for 60 seconds, feels like high risk low reward.

How Haunted Grounds should've worked?

That one time 60 seconds exposed feels very lackluster.
But if I were to change something about the perk, I would make it so the first hex-totem destroyed is ALWAYS haunted grounds, so you won't have the BS of 33% that the survivor kills your ruin and you lost 2 perks at once (which seems to be 80% in my games -.-).

It's not good for every killer. Haunted Ground is very powerful on Hag, and BBQ is a bad perk for her, yet it is a meta perk.

Haunted Ground is fine. Also, if you run it with Ruin, you definitively don't know the potential of this perk.

haunted ground needs a buff , it should give 2 times 60 , meaning both hex totems should carry the exposed effect .
but they shouldnt stack . if I pop the hex then my buddy popps the other one , shouldnt go all the way to 120 . only refresh the 60 .

Never tried it on hag actually, thats a great idea

That's a really good idea as well!

The second totem shouldn't be turned off when the first one pops.

My opinion is all hex perks are a gamble, usually though if ruin or lullaby isn't being run, I have to assume the hex is haunted, devour (noting thrill of the hunt will notify me if I start working on it). I think thats the logic survivors are using nowdays before just cracking into it.

Easy buff: keep the 60 seconds, but show all survivors for 5 seconds
