I started the game and was greeted with this message. I swear I did nothing wrong I didnt even use Nvidea reshade. Infact im just a noob who won 2 games in 10 hours... Anyways I got it back working just by restarting the game again... still a bit worried about the message

There's a couple of things you can do. If you reboot open up CMD prompt as admin, type sfc /scannow then afterwards verify the game's files integrity. Sometimes it helps.

is it the EAC message that pop's up because the devs suck at patching their game? If so you can either validate your files to pick up the 4 or 5 the devs fail to actually deliver, or you can open up the Easy Anti Cheat Folder and repair the software..

Eitherway it's probably nothing to worry about,, although you will get disconnect penalties for it if it happens during the game.. which it will because the dev team consist of 2nd and 3rd year IT guys... who work on the code for DBD for their mid term project..

idk if this is the same thing but I've had a security thing pop up as well. But for some reason it pops up whenever I close DbD and then shut down my computer too quickly after doing that. It pops up as "error #000000000000001" or however many zeros it was. Anyway it never really does anything, idk why it happens and why it only ever happens if I shut down my PC within 2 minutes of closing DbD but it happens. If that is what you are experiencing I wouldn't worry about it but if it's something else then sadly i had no idea.

i've found a solution, i launch STEAM in admin mode and i never get more this issue...
