I´ve won against Bubba once, and only because it was the killers fist attemp to play Bubba and the other Survivors were all red ranked. And actually like 90% of all Bubbas just facecamp. So yeah, I also suicide on the hook, cause for me it´s just wasted time on something that is not possible to win at all. In my opinion, Bubba is more than OP! And I´m actually sure it will never get buffed because it is sold damn often..
But hey, I´m just a casual. Maybe I just have to git gut and play 1000hrs more to learn it... -.- (Yes, I´m frustrated by having no changse against Leatherface)
Thats all you can do against it? You know, windows get blocked after you jumped them too often. And there ain´t no windwes everywhere! Sometimes you are in the wild open, when bubba comes with full speed to onehit you. And barking news: The Killer is faster than you!
Seriously now, when jumping windows is all you can do, Bubba is much more than OP! Maybe some 2000hrs players can loop a killer forever, but the average player can´t!
If someone bought Bubba he/she bought something that gives him/her an extreme advantage and something the average player can´t win against. So if you payed for this killer, your chanced to win incrase extremely. I´m starting to understand those who call Bubba Pay-to-Win..
His power is focused on downing multiple survivors fast so all what you need to do is split up. he will need to walk everywhere and has very poor map control.
Windows and pallets are his weakness too, don't drop the pallet so early and don't spam the window so it's don't get blocked fast.
try to fake and force him to M1 and you can make great distance.
Facecamping Bubba is unbeatable for you! but can make all the other survivors escape if they know what they're doing.
if you had one in your match then it's sucks...but others still can escape and the killer will de-pip.
Edit:- Oh. and don't be greedy with gen, as soon you see him coming leave the gen and go to a safe place with window/pallet.
try know your surrounding when working on a gen so you know where to go if he come, and don't get caught in the open.
But as far as I know, when he is using the chainsaw, he walks slower so you can just run in a straight line to not get hit. Which I've always though that was a load of crap. The reason I've always considered him to be the worst killer in the game.
Does he still gets slowdown by the chainsaw?
assuming that every leatherface is a insidious memer is stupid honestly.
also, i forgot that i should only play killer that survivors can have fun against....thx for reminding me.
Its another reason why basement tends to be considered where you go to die in this game as survivor. Especially when its a Leatherface. The only reason you escape from a Leatherface's basement is due to said Leatherface is being nice to you and the other survivors. Its the same for Trapper and Hag. If someone is down there, you are risking killer getting a nasty snowball that will end with all survivors dead if you go in there to save them. The only exceptions are when the killer is being extra nice for one reason or another.
( And no the Leatherface does not even have to facecamp to do that. Also I have not seen facecamping in years. But I am aware that survivors have decided to change its definition to also mean being anywhere near the hook at any time... At least its not like just being on the map like it was for a long while.. I have yet to see survivors do that in a year at least.. But perhaps I've been lucky there and survivors still make up that rule for killers to follow. )
Bubba got a buff to his chainsaw speed and if Killer uses add-ons that extend chainsaw time or speed like super chilli or rake he is very, very difficult to beat in a chase. Harder than even Spirit, and there's no counter available on the survivor side like Iron Will.
Bubba isn't the mediocre killer he used to be, he's topclass since the buff.
The old tactic of using trees and other obstacles to block his chainsaw no longer work. A lot of killers are saying the counter to Bubba is to jump a window. Well whoopee dee first of all the wonky latency means he will still hit you with the chainsaw after you walk a few steps from the window. Second you won't always have a good window around you. Almost all of the strong windows have already been nerfed and are unsafe, so you will get caught even if you manage to safely jump.
Lastly, there aren't many windows in the game, period. If Bubba catches you in a bad spot you are dead there is now way around it. He has just become really good at ending chases, which means he can put pressure on everyone faster.
Nope. They even buffed his chainsaw speed. You cannot just walk away from Bubba, especially if he's using add-ons. He can chase you down with the chainsaw very easily.
