Input delay fix.
The game is really sketchy on whether it acknowledges my mouse clicks. At least once a game, minimum, I find myself having to button mash M1 or 2 before it finally does any in-game action. It makes certain killers like Nurse basically unplayable, and the rest frustrating when I need to get that lucky lunge attack on an annoying looper. Survivor isn't much better since it makes flashlights basically worthless at random times.

Is there any way to fix this?

Locate the game's .exe file found in /steamapps/common/Dead By Daylight.
Once you have located the file, right-click it and select the compatibility tab.

From here you need to click on "Change settings for all users", then in the new window that opens click "Change High DPI Settings" and once again a new window opens where you need to enable/tick the box under "High DPI scaling override" and select "Application" from the drop down menu (should be the default).

Then hit OK and in the currently highlighted window press "Apply". Now you can exit all the remaining windows.

Also check Windows display scaling is set to the recommended setting for me it's set to 100%.

Should fix it whenever it ignores the mouse clicks.

It's a bug with the game and windows display scaling. And compatibility mode and run as administrator and with the high dpi scaling override should fix the issue.
