I mean... I took a break from this game for like a month, came back today and played like 6 games. All 6 games were literally unplayable cause of my bad teammates. This ranking system just lets new players play on high ranks...

I just want to get the rank 1 achievement for survivor but in the past 2 days I died on the first hook at least 30 times because no one tries to save me. Almost no one knows how to play this game and I don't understand why people play DBD if they are bad at it. I see people at red ranks who fail skill checks or can't loop more than 5 seconds even at the shack and it's very infuriating. The point is rank doesn't matter, everyone sucks.

There is a perfectly fitting saying for that in germany: "Wenn der Bauer nicht schwimmen kann, ist die Badehose schuld".
Which literary means: "If the farmer can't swim it's the swimming trunks fault". I think it explains itself.

I know. They made ranks to show how often player plays this game which is completly useless. Just do gens and play like a noob and you have rank.

Welcome to DBD, although I'll have to say that I do find it slightly harder to rank up as a survivor now, I feel like they changed the Altruistic emblem slightly to make it harder, which is very welcomed if so, but I might just be imagining stuff.

Me too. In the old times i was rank 1 surv. Now im somwhere 6-4. Game is expecting from me just to do gens and hide and escape. Do something of everything wont work to get rank

Ive had so many games go to ♥♥♥♥ in 30 seconds because while Im on a gen my three other teammates are swarming a hook and are not only on death hook before the first gen pops but have also managed to give the killer 3 stacks of devour.
