Settings not saving after exit the game!

My settings like language, graphic, even the volume are not changing no matter what i do! For example: I want to change my language to Deutsch, i must restart the game, and the game still has English! I need your help!

Check the files inside %localappdata%\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\ are not set to read only.

then you have to turn that off so dbd can write stuff in the config files, cause the system which loads settings works like this: if youre starting your game then it reads the files and loads those settings, if youre changing something ingame then it changes that setting in the config file, when closing your game, but the problem is... if the files is read only then it cant do that and on next start you got your old settings

it should be there,

press win + r, type in appdata and press enter, after that navigate this path: \AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsClient

in that folder should be a file named gameusersettings.ini which saves all graphic settings, if your settings ingame arent saving then right click that file and remove the tick from read only, aber that click save and now your ingame settings should be saving as regular

mhh, the game should be creating those files when launched for the first time, did you launch dbd already?

also try to make sure that not any of the other folders before the gameusersettings are read only

how far are you able to navigate the path?

yes I have launched dead by daylight from steam, and reinstalled the game 3 times but still the folder is not there

mhh weird, and you have checked that all the other folders arent read only?
