Progress bar
Sometimes when I fix a generator or heal, the progress bar is either gold or red.
What is the difference between the two besides the colors of course lol

if a progress bar is red, it means that you are doing the action slower than normal. This could be due to perks (like sloppy butcher making your healing slower) or other things. Whenever you are repairing a gen with multiple survivors, your progress bar will turn red to indicate that your own personal repair speed has been slowed down, even though the gen is getting done faster overall.

Gold is the opposite. Gold means that your action speed has been buffed.

Red means your progress is being slow down by something and gold means it is sped up by something.

Red means its slower than 100% efficiency and gold means its faster than it.

Certain perks, items and addons on both sides increase or decrease it.

For example its less efficient to work on gens together especially at the start of a match and why the bar goes red as it takes 44 seconds for two people on a gen so its 8 seconds slower overall than splitting up and doing your own.

Prove thyself perk negates that effect of course.
