Claudette will naturally have the Self Care perk at lvl 1 as of version 2.0. To use it, equip the perk prior to entering a game, and then press M1 in-game when injured to heal. You will see the prompt in-game, when injured, and with the perk equipped.

Once Claudette specifically reaches t lvl 40, you can get a teachable version of this perk which makes every character able to learn it if you find it in the blood web.

its a perk get the perk then M1 or whatever you binded it to
but that perk is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible and absolute garbage it slows the game down by 1 minute giving killer huge advantage and yields you unable to do obiectives for 24 seconds (1 heal)

I don't know why you think the perk is terrible.

Self Care enables survivors to have a free, unlimited use self heal on demand. The time it takes to heal is 50% of how long it takes another survivor to heal you, sure, but healing yourself doesn't waste their time so it evens out, and is just a huge benefit when you consider you may not have allies around to heal you in the first place at any given time. It also lets you proc skill checks that can wake you up from Freddy's dreamworld, which is a huge asset.

well not garbage but really a bad perk it wastes time while giving you another 1k points at the end of the match 24 seconds of healing (you will never heal more than twice a match unless you try to block every hit or the match is very long like 3 gen strat doctor) Bond does this better while it takes 12 seconds and tells you where to not go in a chase to avoid killing your teammates, yea sc is better in a last man alive situation but these shouldnt happen very often

sadly devs are literally screaming for you to use SC which is ridicoulous fisrt thanatophobia franklin so you dont run medkits overwhelming to some extend and freddy so you run sc

in my 1k hours expierience i have yet to see self care saving a team rather than destroying it
for example when 2 surviovrs are alive its quite common for one to be saved off the hook both are injuried and one falls to the ground and gets hooked so here are 2 outcomes
either bbq lets killer see where the last one is or he is shown by nurse calling

1. Be injured
2. Stand still
3. Hold M1

It's still a very strong perk, not overpowered as most killers would like to tell you, but still strong.
