DbD Friend-Requests???

I know that this both isn't (but still sorta is) truly related to DbD, and if this topic is in the wrong section, I ask Moderators to move it to its rightful plays.
But anyways...

For a while now I've had these Frend-requests, in which I have no idea what to do with. Why? I would have liked it that Steam had a Personal Message button on peoples profiles because then I could ask them right away why they sent me a Friend-Request, no offence to anyone, I am just cautious of whom I accept as friend, even on Steam.

Now, since there is no such option, I am asking over here on this forum about this matter, because I seem to have gotten these Friend-Requests ever since playing DbD. Sure, I've also been discussing DbD stuff here on the forums, but still. I still wonder how this all come, and what to do about these Friend-Requests.

Probably it's someone you played with who wants to ask you a question or something. One time a killer friended all of us in the lobby to ask if we'd help with his daily since he couldn't play that particular killer with enough skill to complete it.

Sometimes its the killer trying to farm, they get super annoyed when you ignore it lol

If you play killer, I would strongly advice to ignore all requests. Most of them will end up with trash talk . Burned myself few times and never again.

I know my reply is very late, and I apologize for that, I've been on vacation. But I still wish to thank all of your who replied here and providing answers. I'll see what actions I'll take with these friend-requests.

Very true. Seen that myself way too many times. Especially if your profile is set to "private".

Agree with that! I played killoer against someone who would accuse me of all kinds of things (like camping, survivors fav accusation it seems), and then that person goes right away to send me a friend-request. Instant block from me, I tell you, because I knew what that friend-request was all about.
