How to tell if Survivors are playing together?
Title. I wanna know how to tell if I'm playing in a Survive with Friends lobby so I can leave it. THink it's a broken feature that defeats purpose of game.

Check their profiles and see if their friends are in the lobby

You can sometimes tell by names, and when they join all at the same time. Although with some practice, SWF isn't too bad tbh.

When they all join at the same time is how I usually tell, just wanted to know if there was a more concrete way of knowing. And I just really despise thinking of them using discord to tell each other where i am on the map and every detail about what I'm doing.

I don't mind playing against SWF folks, because I can guarantee they will try to rescue one another. Just patrol closely and they'll come to you.

It is a broken feature, it does defeat the purpose of the game. Back in the good old days it didn't have SWF cause it WASNT INTENDED. comms is basically cheating. best idea i heard is that they put in an option for killers to choose to play against them or not.

Not necessarily. Recently played against some guys who had one guy as the designated sacrifice. By that, I mean he would run in front of me on purpose and sacrifice himself to unhook others and juke me as long as possible. IF you're playing against a coordinated SWF squad you most likely won't get more than 1-2 kills.

And before you say "just kill the sacrifice then" they had another one as backup sacrifice, so they'd both work together to juke and unhook each other while telling their buds through discord where I was and which generator was the farthest one to get.

Really? It's always been really easy for me. If he's the "Sacrifice" Punish him for it. Face camp him if you want.

This. I play both sides (main survivor) and I half-agree. Killers tend to dodge (really frustrating) and when we get into games we get camped... It sucks but I don't camp myself when I play, I just hook and book unless they hook rush in which case I'll patroll the area until I know it's clear and then go for gens.

If there was an option to opt out of SWF then SWF groups would never find a lobby... I would quit the game or just main killer at that point. It's not broken, I've played rank 1 SWF and all you gotta do is run BS or/ and Endur and walk thru pallets, hook and patroll if they hook rushed, if you clear the area then start looking at gens but don't go too far or else they'll start hook rushing.

Not broken at all just too much :steamsalty: everywhere you look in the DbD community

Once you get more than 6 hours under your belt you'll learn how to deal with SWF teams. It's really not that hard. I suggest you learn to play the game before complaining about it.

Cheers, good gaming!
