How are you supposed to aim shock therapy exactly?
Seems like during chases 70% my shock therapys just go right through the survivors with no effect. Where exactly are you supposed to aim on the survivors body. iIt just seems incredibly inconsistant.

Try to use a horse addon (maple knight iirc). This is allows you to see AoE of Doctors shock.

Used it 10 times in a row and even though they are in the field it still whiffs more often then not in chases.

Its delayed. So once you shoot it, survivors have the opportunity to move out of it. Its short.

Survivors are also easier to hit if injured. You have more range and your shock is wider.

The range of shock therapy is very short, also when you release the shock the range will be up to the max range of where you released it, so if the survivor was on the edge of the range of your shock therapy when you released it, they will be out of the original shock's range when they keep running.

Treatment mode is not for chasing, punishment mode is for chasing, which is a common mistake I see among people playing the doctor.

Hit them once and then shock them. The range is increased alot.

I wouldn't rely on that too much, as it's a bug and is therefore going to get fixed.

If its a bug, then the doctor is 100% useless.

first u need to hit them and then u can therapy them ez

you have to aim a bit ahead of the survivor's position. The shock wave is quite slow, so if you aim at a survivor that is running sideways you'll miss. You have to aim ahead of him so he will run into the wave.

I use shock therapy when they are looping me, not when I'm directly chasing them.

After you hit them, you can send out a shock in any direction and if the survivor you hit is anywhere within idk, 5 - 8 meters of you (depending on your items) it'll shock them. I hit a survivor with no items, ran back about 6 meters, turned around and sent a shock out through the edge of the map and it still hit him. Not sure if it's intended or a bug.

But before I hit him, I sent out shocks at like a 2 meter range and couldn't hit him at all...

Great. Waste more time. Since it does NOTHING to help you chase the looper. Good survivors completely ignore madness.

What else can you do against a looper as the Doc anyway? Might as well shock the looper so he can't heal or repair later

It doesn't do nothing, it however doesn't do enough, hence why I've stated elsewhere and I will repeat here again; they need to give the doc the buffs they talked about in the dev stream and he'd be a great killer now.
