Hex: Ruin: Nerfed or Buffed? What do you think?
"Hex: Ruin: All generators are affected by Hex: Ruin; if a generator is not being worked on, it regresses at 100/150/200% the normal regression rate. The Hex effect persists as long as the related Hex totem is standing."

It's nerfed for me.

Its both. It's a nerf if you're versing potato survivors but a buff if you're versing good survivors. Ruin did nothing against good survivors but new ruin + surveillance is a pretty crazy combo that will get about anyone.

lol it's a big fat nerf. especially for indoormaps where the totem was found either lategame or just not at all.
either Ruin is very st rong or very weak. and it depends on the map and its placement.

With the changes survivors will gen rush through the first couple of gens because there is no skillcheck penalty, while the killer is chasing one survivor the other 3 can repair fast without a worry.

In most cases there the totem will be found before the endgame and it will be useless. with the old ruin u had a chance to get an indoor map and Ruin up for the entire match, but with this new version even if its up the entire match it will be much weaker

Heavy nerf as now theres NOTHING in the middle of gen rushers with toolboxes. Now to get any real use youre going to need to pair it with Pop or Surveillance, maybe even both rather than having Ruin as a standalone that did its job well enough by itself

it's not even a nerf, it's RUINED (pun intended)

The good survs, finds Ruin very faster. Also, right now they start to fix generators once Ruin was destroyed. Soon, they will can repair and make an easy genrush while you as Killer, hunt a surv.

pretty nerfed as ruin is the only perk that prevents or effects (as far as i know) the great skill check bonus progression and removing that from the perk means no matter what other perks are used that bonus progression for great skill checks is going to be there. Progression loss while not working on gens does not matter much i mean i can see how it might be okay if you get survivors off gens in the area trying to flashlight save and you have thrilling tremors 16 seconds of 200% regression but it's nowhere near as useful as it was (even though sometimes pre-nerf ruin did not activates once on a gen till around 70% completion when i was working through ruin once).
edit:checked the numbers it normally regresses at a rate of 0.25 charges out of 80 per second with new ruin that's 0.5 charges a second so 16 seconds of not working on a gen would be a 10% reduction in generator progression which can be entirely negated by 5 great skillchecks or 8 seconds of working on a generator.

Its not a buff nor a nerf, its a rework, which is a completely different thing. Nerfing indicates that they weakened the perk while retaining the same functionality and core, while reworking changes the entire functionality and core of the perk. My point is nobody know how this rework will turns out and calling this a nerf is a bit too far of a stretch imo.
