Killers who use every "slow down" perk, read this
Listen, we both play killer. But if you use every slow down perk on a killer, you're only making the game super boring for survivors, because everything takes forever, and you're also limiting yourself from becoming a better player. Its very typical that I see this combo: Thanatophobia, Sloppy butcher, Ruin and PGTW/Dying light. Please stop, the games are not fun when you do this, I dont want to spend entire game on a generator, because you clearly dont know how to run loops, you're just being carried by 4 slow down perks.

TL;DR; Behaviour should nerf slow down perks, but only when they are used together. More than 2 should not be able to be picked together, IMO.

And before you cry survivor main, I play both, you can check my steam ach's.

TL;DR Behavior should learn how a to balance the game so slow down perks are not necessary for the killer not to get stomped into the ground 9/10 times

You usually only need 1, Im fine with 2. But when you use 4, come on, the game just becomes an unfun game at that point.

I play both as well at red ranks, trust me whenever I run into an idiot that isn't running Ruin or any other slow down perk, it's an auto lose for them 99% of the time.. Any moron who knows how to hold down M1 can abuse that

yea killers shouldnt use gen slower perks meanwhile survivors rekt them with their ds, adrenaline, deliverance, borrowed time AKA you can catch me but you can't kill me built.
cuz you know, its fun trying to catch someone more than 6 times in a single game while their swf do all the gens.
you make a lot of sense.
btw i am not using these slower perks at all, and my games are pretty quick due the unstoppable gen speed.

Yes you are right they are so boring but I get them. They are just too frustrated over the fact they cannot pressure the game enough. Or they just want to counter good survivors. PS: do not play Sloppy plzz

Botany Knowledge alone will in part counter Thanatophobia and Sloppy Butcher. We'll Make it makes Sloppy Butcher worthless. Self-Care completely counters Thanatophobia. You can destroy Ruin. Dying Light barely does anything (especially if there's a toolbox). Pop Goes the Weasel is only helpful if you hook someone.

Gen speed is so insane that as long as you're a good team and know how to slam the gens down, it doesn't even really matter. I understand finding it frustrating, but that's just how this game is atm. Balance is awful lol. Killers will stop running multiple slow down perks once 3 gens can't be popped during your first chase.
Also once survivors stop stacking multiple get out of jail free perks, but we know that's not happening either LOL.

Well everyone get to play what they like. On the other side, survivor can run all the "survive" perks they want, so it take longer to kill them.

It just feels there shouldn' tbe such thing as a meta.
I had this idea about putting perks in the same categories than emblems.
And each perk would give 1 point in this category.

For example as survivor A :
- Iron Will = Boldness
- Prove Thyself = Objective
- Borrowed Time = Altruism
- Adrenaline = Survival

Survivor A would get 1 point in each category, leading to 100% total bonus BP awarded post-game
Some perks like Bond or Kindred could have 2 categories : Objective and Altruism for Bond, Survival and Altruism for Kindred.

Having 2 perks in the same category = 100% bonus BP in the category awarded post-game
Having 3 or 4 = no BP bonus

I did bother to read moron, I'm saying that the fact that even equipping one slow down perk is a necessary part of playing Killer in high ranks is flawed. The game is unbalanced in a way that if Killer mains don't equip even the bareminimum of slowdown they will lose the game majority of the time. No sh*t Killers are going to go overkill and equip as much as they can, it's because the game is stupidly balanced to work in that way

Opinion disregarded if you use self care, if you use that against sloppy/thana, you are single handedly a huge convinience for your team. By the time you heal up against that combo, you could have done a gen.

Of course, just change to the literal best killers in the game then you won't need it. 4head why didn't I think of that.

Want to play a low tier killer? Well survivors don't like it when you use slow down perks/addons to make the game more in your favor so I guess you can't

Okay, I will use Wraith as another example then. He's not very good. I still only use ruin on him, I dont use more than 1 slow down perk on any killer. (except ghostface, where I use Thana + sloppy).
