If you're not running along side a wall which has a window then think of it like real life, the ability to fast vault a window without the best angle isn't going to happen is it?

For fast vaulting you need to be running straight at a window, you can also vault a window slightly off centre from it but its very strict on what can or cant be fast.

You need to run straight into the window at a perpendicular angle. If you run at a bad angle you can't do a fast vault. I forget is that what the tutorial says? Vaults were nerfed a while back so it's harder to get a fast vault.

As an avid parkour enthusiast, I respectfully disagree haha.

Which I still find weird how Survivors can fast vault a pallet back and forth while standing still, or sometimes fast vault a window at a 90° angle. According to the game mechanics with that nerf's patchnotes, you shouldn't be able to do that.

So you're telling me if you ran flat against a wall and tried to vault a window that isn't at all big you'd be able to fast vault it, sorry but no, not a chance, if you tried you'd slam into the frame of the window if you're running, you'd have to slow down so that you could vault it at a better speed and because you slow down you're not going to fast vault it, if you ran straight at it I'm sure you could just jump straight over.

It's called grabbing the side of the window, and leading through it feet first like a swing. Use the momentum centered on your feet to carry you through quickly.
