Mouse Clicks wont register
Since i have a 4k Monitor, my mouse clicks won't register 100%. If i play killer my hits sometimes do not even start. Sometimes i have to click like 5 times which is super restricting in a chase ofc. Does anyone have the same issue, or an idea to fix that? It is also just while ingame in DBD. No other games, not even the DBD menu (bloodweb, shop, etc.) has the problem...

I don’t have this myself but I have seen another post about it on the forums, so I assume this is an uncommon issue

Not regarding the monitor, but due to defect i had to switch my mouse to a "logitech G203 (cord)" i had lying around. And BOY ... this thing is just shy of getting smacked against the wall due to clicks not registering!!!

What is your monitor response time. 4K is normally pretty bad. You need a 1ms response time to have a good game.

Not true. Anything below 5ms is just fine.

You cannot play this game with scaling. Game runs in window and your invisible mouse cursor moves out of the window hence your mouse click is not registered.
Option 1. Bind your M1 on keyboard
Option 2. Set scaling to 100% gratz you have 4k but game ui does not support in. So you will have hard time reading tiny text.
BHVR coders are hopeless with fix since 2016.

So i just cant use my 4k monitor because the scaling itself is not supported? That is really weak BHVR. But i will try the 100% scaling thing out

I have the same problem and I am not using any 4k monitor, just a laptop. Many times M1 and even M2 don't register well, and I have to spam the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouse buttons.
Really fun when you are trying to hit a survivor, or unhook someone.

Ikr, it sometimes forces me to hit my mouse even if it's not anything wrong about it

Common bug that's been there since the game launched.

Had this issue and this worked for me so you might wanna try it out, it's quite easy:

1. Steam Library
2. Right click on DBD then Properties.
3. From the "Local Files" tab, click on "Browse Local Files...".
4. Right click on DeadByDaylight.exe and then Properties.
5. From the "Compatibility" tab, click on "Change high DPI settings".
6. Check "Override high DPI scaling behavior." and make sure it is set on Application.
7. Click OK and then Apply.

--Done--

This actually solves the problem regarding the clicks. But my performance drops in terms of fps if i do so. Do you still have 60 fps and/or more?

No I have no performance issues, probably because I have an 1080p monitor and this method sets the games resolution to the highest one possible (I think), so if u have a 4k monitor or something it might cause performance issues. but so does the setting display scale to 100% method.

You don't need 1ms.

Chances are the PC is a potato and can't handle 4k.

Tried it - MASSIVE drops in fps!
So not an option.
