Someone explain to me the new Styptic Agent and Syringe effect
I just came back from a long break and I was reading the description for these addons, I did what the new description said and it didn't work. I used the Styptic Agent on my injured self and in about 1 or 2 seconds I didn't get the deep wounds effect when hit by the killer, instead I went down which is less than 8 seconds.

I use the Syringe on my injured self and again after 16 seconds nothing happened.

What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug?

The red add on heals you passively within a certain amount of time, add ons effect this time.
The purple one gives you the Borrowed Time effect for a few seconds if you're hit while injured.

Styptic Agent

When the Styptic Agent is used on an injured Survivor, they gain the Endurance Status Effect for 8 seconds.
Any damage taken during that time that would put the Survivor into the Dying State will instead apply the Deep Wound Status Effect.
The Survivors has then 20 seconds to Mend themselves.
If the Survivor takes any damage while affected by Deep Wound or if the Deep Wound timer ends, they will immediately be put into the Dying State
Styptic Agent depletes the Med-Kit on use.

Anti-Hemo Syringe

The affected Survivor will passively gain one Health State 16 seconds after use.
The time required can be modified by Perks and Add-ons that affect Healing speeds.
This effect is cancelled when the affected Survivor changes their Health State or is picked up by the Killer.
Anti-Haemorrhagic Syringe depletes the Med-Kit on use.

Right, but is there something else to it that's not in the description? Or is this just another "PrEtTy GoOd JoB sO fAr" implementation?

Because it didn't work.

pReTtY gOoD jOb sO fAr tbh

It doesn't always work for me either. The only one I am guaranteed on is for the purple add on. It won't work if you don't get hit within a certain time frame though. So use it then take a hit within the next few seconds. Like if you think you're going to be tunneled and it's the end of the game, use it right away as your running for the exit.
