A lot of people fake the unhook (just click to start and stop the animation) to bait killers into a hit so that they can save the hooked person with borrowed time.
yeah (super) close doesnt matter. i port over with hag, RNG a grab here and there.
This is one practical use of Unrelenting.
When going for a grab, first swing at the air and miss. They'll often try to fake you out and let go, giving you time to recover and grab them.
If they don't fake out, you recover from the miss fast enough to just whack the guy who was unhooked and trigger BT.
Many Survivor actions can be interrupted, giving the Killer a free grab and pick up. To initiate an interrupt, tap the attack button at close range while the Survivor is occupied.
List of ways Killers can interrupt the Survivors:
--Vaulting (injured state only)
--Jumping into the Hatch
--Repairing Generators
--Unhooking another Survivor
--Cleansing Totem
--Sabotaging Hook and Bear Trap
--Entering/Exiting the Lockers
--Opening Exit Gates
LUNGE ATTACKS DO NOT TRIGGER INTERRUPTS!
*Killers can't interrupt the Survivors during the cool-down of successful attacks.
**The Survivors' health state will not change until the Killer either drop the Survivor (which will put them in the Dying State), or hang them on a Hook
