antivirus blocks eac

its a new file each time i launch the game so theres is no way to make an exception for that certain file i've been trying to play the game since yesterday 12 pm now its the next day still can't play file is still getting blocked im not the only one but probably a minority which dead by daylight seems to not give a ♥♥♥♥ when it comes to minority example people have a glitch that they can't rank up and their game never saves even after a fresh install or verifying the files again its only a minority that are affected and that issue as been going on for awhile yet not fix i'd be ready to bet 100$ this crap isn't going to be fixed since its only affected a minority typical dbd devs

I took 2 days and still can`t play. I even reinstalled windowns completely. Nothing works. It is a problem from EAC's side, not from ours

I have a rank updated error sice 2.8.0 and I have mad like 10 tikets and in all of them the devs said that they are aware of the problem nothing more or less so good luck my friend :/

I have had the same problem with my antivirus so had to disable for 5 minutes just while the game boots up to see what happens

get a better av or exclude the folder. Devs cant really do anything about it (they could remove eac but in their perspective theres no good reason to) and EAC sure doesnt care.

Once in a while my avast will give me a virus warning, and it is happening with this game only. All i have to do is to report false to avast and problem is gone.

I honestly don't know what you use but I've been using antivirus softwares since 1997 and there are only two that have never let me down...& one of them Is Bitdefender...the other is Norton.
Avast, Kaspersky, McAfee whatever you use failed in the days of memory viruses, rootkits and malicious scripts in the early 2000s. I have not bothered with any other antivirus since then.

YES it is, it's perfectly harmless, you will get more harm if you placed something like idk a pirated movie on there you copied from a disc you bought

The fix I posted above included un-installing and re-installing EAC...because guess what that was not the most current version. So all your other antivirus softwares should pay more attention
