The mechanics can be clunky. I played it on an emulator on the pc and i fully customized the controls. It made it much more stable and less clunky. Graphically wise and mechanically wise, it isnt as close to dbd, but the way the game is set up and the things you can do in it feels much more fun--- at least to me, sadly this is just my opinion haha.
The looping simulator that this game turned into, personally, throws off the fun imo. It might not be better at the moment, but it sure can be fun x].
But it will become boring, cant add much stuff like a pc game.
well i read that the folks of DBD are helping with the creation of it. So most likely it iwll not. I just wish that they intergrate some of the unique aspects of that game into this. I found it much more engaging and fun and it might break this stupid looping chasing simulator behavior DBD has aquired.
The dbd folks are helping create it, thats why its almost 100 percent like dbd. The graphics don't look good but for a phone game, its great imo.
perhaps, but there are some things of that game that i wish this game takes and establishes.
the unique items
The survs ability to stun and mess with the killer
The unique char ability -- both killer and surv
the killer's ability to down you when you are hit during an interaction proccess (hooking, vaulting, healing).
Things that might help shift our game from a loop chase simulator.
The numerous role HAS to work together more in this game to be able to help and there is no self heal really besides a perk that is similair to adrenalin and the when where you can get out of the dying state ONCE like in dbd which helps to balance everything more. I tell u the following out of fear for dbd since i love this game: If Identity V improves by making it less clunky, releasing it on steam and fixing the ping, it WILL hurt dbd ALOT.
As an example u take less time to untie someone than it takes to unhook but IF u get kot by a hit u are oneshot down same as with caulting since vaulting in this game is more safe (not by much but it is sufficient really) the whole game is a more high risk high reward version of dbd and it WILL get you going. Dbd should really learn a bit from them since they do not care what people say but they care about numbers. They dont care if a hunter is called strong if the numbers tell otherwise.
I see many survivors having fun in this game even tho they are not stupidly broken like in dbd but yeah. Thats my view on the whole thing as a future game designer
