Forced to buy an entire set for one item.
So I noticed on the new DLC characters, if you like the look of one specific item of a set, say the torso, you are now forced to buy the entire 1.1k auric cells SET as opposed to being able to purchase the individual item. BHVR, do not go in this direction, this is beyond greedy. Outfits are already abhorrently expensive, no one should be defending this sort of business practice.

I completely disagree with having to buy the entire set as well. For a lot of skins, I really might only like the hair or shirt, which also makes it stupid that you can't mix and match. It certainly seems underhandedly greedy, but it's also reduces the game's versatility and takes away our freedom of choice. I certainly hope this isn't the beginning of the end for this game.

It's worse than that. Even once you buy the entire set, you have to wear it all together. You can't mix and match.

Just my opinion, but they're just cosmetics. If you think they're too expensive simply don't buy them, they don't affect anything. There's nothing particularly shady about charge for cosmetic dlc.

Depending on which item you're talking about, it's because those items cannot be mix and matched with others on the character.

Legendary Skins are supposted to completely Change your entire Character by other Person.
Also you cannot Combine it.
Imagine the nurse with Cheryl masons Clothes, It'll break the entire Way that New "Character" is supposted to be.

The reason for this is that that some of the sets do not work if you mix and match them. For example, The new legendary skin for Cheral completely changes who she is so you cant just buy the head or the torso. Some have to necessarily come with each other. And this is only something they will do for certain unique or legendary skins

Only the Lisa Garland skin is legendary.

All of the skins in the sets HAVE to be bought as a full set. If you are additionally unable to mix and match as "The professor" has stated, that is even more so an issue. Sure it's just cosmetics, but that doesn't mean we should sit idly by while prices are in reality, exponentially increased (due to being forced to buy an entire set).

Is it maybe a bug? If not, dang.

You do realize that the "sets" released are under License agreement. Considering they are full outfits from the games, the company MOST LIKELY doesn't want pieces to be sold / equipped seperately.

Hasn't been the case with prior licensed characters so I fail to see your argument here.

What other licenses? Do you mean Laurie's Outfits combination? We are talking about changing a whole character here.

Wouldn't surprise me to find that some licensees have different requests.

Though this could also explain why we don't have many cosmetics for licensed characters, particularly killers.

It's the legendary skin for the new DLC character right? I believe the point of those is that if you wear it you become a different character. I think it's a way for the company to add different survivor skins without having to also work on perks and animations and skins etc.

It's not just the Legendary skin.

Ah then yeah, I got nothing. I'd be fine with defending the legendary skins cause that's the point of them, but the others should be individual purchases.
