How to see people's character post game?

Not sure what you mean. you can see everyone's characters post game in the lobby after they die.

If you mean "how to understand who's who at the end game chat" you really can't, it used to have some pictures before so you kinda knew who pipped and who didn't and you instantly knew who was who pretty much, right now I don't remember if at the end game chat it says the character you were playing as or not, so I believe there's no way aside from remembering the name

You go to options then something about match info, you can see the names of the players and the character they used, but there is no way to see their avatars.

i think in option menu IRC, the game will tell who was playing what. i know theres a shorcut but i dont know what it is.

If OP is asking this question, it means they are likely dying first and are alone in "post game" while everyone else is still playing.

In post game you have the list of names on the left. Not the character but the screen name of the player.
You see the four survivors on the right.
I think op is trying to ask how to match the names on the left with which survivor they played.

Thank you, can confirm this is still correct.

For anyone who is confused: When looking at everyone's scores after the game, there's no way to see who each player's character was (it shows you their username but not their character name).

The solution is to click the gear button in the bottom left corner, which opens the "Options" menu. In there, the last tab on the right is "Match Details". This shows you which character each player played as.
