Are you using a public network like a college network or are you using internet at your home?
Check your computer's date and time. no joke i spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why a computer kept throwing that error when visiting websites. turned out the cmos battery on the motherboard was dead and reset the date and time back to the default value.
If you're using a network based ad-block, allow dead by daylight through, that will cause the invalid certificate error. If you don't know what i'm talking about then you more than likely don't have one.
I am using my home's internet. everything else like other steam games and websites are working just fine. I also don't think I have network-based adblock.
i did exactly that :P
In that case, take this to the official website for assistance. The devs never check Steam, so we can't help you any more than just guessing.
hi guys, did you manage to solve the problem?
