What is the 4%?
It is not hitting someone if they get off the hook? Just watched a Truetalent video where he 'respects the 4%' and seems to involve no camping or tunneling.

Whats interesting is even a good player like him, with max perks and add ons, with wraith, struggles to pip. It really is damn hard work. And yet if he just camped the first person, he would have easily got 3 or 4 kills.

I think this game needs to reward hooks more. For example if you got 6 hooks and 0 kills... atleast dont rank someone down for that. It requires so much effort to get more than 5 hooks in the time it takes 4 people to do gens. Obviously you rank up for getting kills. But dont punish people who play nice.

Where as someone who just camps might get 3 or 4 hooks against a diminishing size team, adding much more time to the game.

4% is when yo uget yourself off the hook yes.
Nightsong Oct 24, 2017 @ 2:54pm
it is the 4% chance survivors have to escape the hook while trying to kobe of the hook, at the great expense of the time he got on the hook.

Supposebly, course i follow it cuz its dumb af ration, When i get myself off the hook im hoping you'll let me go, But ya know.

It's harder, I wouldn't go as far to call it a struggle though. Wraith will be in a good position after his cube.

As for the victory cube, the only change I would make is having the first hook reward 2 points as opposed to the sacrifice. Then it switches the burden of pipping onto campers.

Yeah exactly. Thats what i would hope it would be. So spreading the hooks around pays better than focusing on one. I mean how dumb is this...

Currently, hooking 4 people once each is the same amount of pip points as hooking one person once and going afk for 2 mins.

Umm... who even comes up with this $hit?

Tru3talent has been "Playing by survivor rules" for the past couple days to show how much harder and more stressful the game is.... and how completely and utterly stupid it is to play by their rules.

The 4% is the basic chance a survivor has to self-escape off of a hook during Phase 1. Because it's so rare - 1 in 25 attempts, if probability is followed - some killers choose to spare a survivor who successfully gets off the hook. This is simly the individual player's code of morals, of course, and how much respect it deserves varies.

Of course, it's a bit of a misnomer. Anything that gives a luck boost, like the luck offerings or one of Ace's perks, affects the unhook chance. So the chance to escape could actually be quite sizable.

The 4% is like the Friendzone... Many claim it exists and whine about it, but overall they just sound like misogynist dbags who want to complain about how unfair it is, in an obvious attempt to convince someone to give them some pity sex. dbag Friendzone claimers don't deserve her, and tbagging survivors who get caught after jumping off of the hook don't deserve to keep playing.

That's the best comparison I've ever heard.

YES! Preach it!

I don't respect the 4%... but then, unless the hook is being obviously swarmed, I wouldn't be camping it in the first place.

I remember suggesting this when the Victory Cube came out (feels so long ago now), and I still feel like something like this would be better. Probably not this exactly, as it'd be a bit too easy to pip, but something that at least doesn't reward focusing the same person again and again so heavily.

The points should be more distributed more towards the first hook basically.

This is why looping should be fixed. Survivors don't want you ruining your fun but have no issues doing it to you.

I respect the 4% chance survivors have of unhooking themselves as long as they respect the 4% chance I have of stabbing them in the face as they jump from the hook.

Of course. You are wounded and have 1 less hook state. That puts you closer to death than the other survivors. Reducing the survivors from 4 to 3 is the main priority.
